pArt of Science
As researchers, when we explore something, we are passionate about sharing it in a way that would be received more easily.
We write articles; we do presentations, and visual materials: photography, microscopy images, basic sketches, detailed illustrations, 3D models, are often the best narrators of our research.
Visual communication tools are powerful ways to grab the attention of the audience and enhance the memorability of the subject. Similarly, throughout my research, I needed visual materials to tell my story.

Emircan Sert, an undergraduate student in the chemical engineering department from the Baldemir Lab, was admitted to a three-month summer internship with Prof. Dr. Laura De Laporte, a member of the scientific board at DWI Leibniz-Institut für Interaktive Materialien, which is a partner of Max Planck School Matter to Life, located on the RWTH Aachen University campus.Â
Mr. Sert will be working with the DeLaporte group on the development of biomaterial systems in the field of tissue engineering during the summer internship!
Congratulations Emircan!
