pArt of Science
As researchers, when we explore something, we are passionate about sharing it in a way that would be received more easily.
We write articles; we do presentations, and visual materials: photography, microscopy images, basic sketches, detailed illustrations, 3D models, are often the best narrators of our research.
Visual communication tools are powerful ways to grab the attention of the audience and enhance the memorability of the subject. Similarly, throughout my research, I needed visual materials to tell my story.

We are thrilled to announce that Dilara Ocaktan, an undergraduate student in the Department of Chemical Engineering and a member of the Baldemir Lab, has been awarded an Erasmus Internship Programme grant.
This summer, Dilara will join Dr. Matthias Hartlieb, leader of the Emmy Noether Research Group at the University of Potsdam, Germany, for a three-month research internship. During her stay, she will contribute to the development of synthetic polymers for biomedical applications, working closely with Dr. Hartlieb and his team.
Congratulations to Dilara Ocaktan on this exciting achievement!
